The Hyper Zoanoid Team 5 are the personal project of the zoalord Hamilcal Valkus, extremely powerful zoanoids personally created by the ancient scientist. ZX-Tole is their leader and by far the most powerful, and is in fact one of if not the single most powerful zoanoid ever created. His powers include the possession of a nearly inpenetrable, regenerating exoskeleton, many batteries of built-in biolasers, great strength, and above average speed and agility, as well as his ultimate attack: the ability to gather all the ambient energy in an area in the form of heat and light, then releasing it in a single focused blast which can knock a hole through a mountain. The last ability, however, is so draining to ZX-Tole’s system that it is harmful and possibly even deadly to himself to use.
Not only for his power is ZX-Tole the leader of Team 5. He has the bearing and manner of a career soldier, equally efficient at giving and accepting orders. He is intelligent, cautious, and rarely underestimates his foes. He prefers not to fight without a plan, but is quite capable of improvising one if need be. ZX-Tole, like all zoanoids, is fanatically loyal to Chronos and its vision of a new world. He is not particularly cruel, however, unlike many of his fellows. The rest of Team 5 are quite loyal to ZX-Tole, and rely upon him as a solid, competent rock of support.
