Derzerb is a member of the Hyper Zoanoid Team 5, and is built as a pure strength model. He is probably physically the strongest of all of Team 5, but is also incredibly tough and deceptively fast. As well, he is able to breathe flames of an unbelievably high temperature, and resist the same, as well as most other effects, via his incredibly thick and tough hide.
In his human form, Derzerb is a HUGE black man, far taller than any normal human. Whether he was naturally a giant, or this is some result of his zoanoid processing, is unknown.
